WOW... I pretty much rolled out of bed half an hour ago >_> Geez I got up late for my standards... gaahhh!!

The date was so fun! (mainly the Big Cheese part was the most fun because we had LOADS to do xD And Shaun dropped in to join us!) The night before it though, Robert was almost not gonna come for personal reasons, and I was trying really hard to persuade him to come because without HIM it wouldn't be a DATE on my part. But he was still wary and I started sounding like a controlling B-word >_>
"Come at LEAST this once and then you can do whatever the next times we plan stuff like this."
"...I'll bet Kyle wouldn't be giving you this. I have to go. Bye." (Ironically he didn't leave after saying that. It was probably because I kept talking or because he only exed out of the chat but didn't actually sign out)
"Um... ok-- KYLE WAS A DOUCHEBAG BTW!!!!!!!"
"And I'm NOT coming tomorrow!"
'Dang it! Think, Dianne, think!' I was reeling for something more to say. We continued talking but I was hardly successful in persuading him.

"Ahh, I see what's going on." Dan said.
I lifted my head with round eyes, "You... you do???"
"It's best that you give him more of a choice in things; be fair, especially while you guys are still just getting to know each other."
"But... Why did he say 'I'm NOT coming' so forcefully?"
"It's a dominance thing. We guys are like that quite often. It usually happens when the girl is like, 'Let's go shopping!!' and we say, 'NO! I am NOT going shopping!!' But then we end up going anyway because we don't wanna hurt the girl's feelings or anything." He laughed.
"Oh..." Holy crap, I never imagined guys were so different compared to girls. But then it makes sense as well because girls are much more emotional than guys. Guys are pretty much straight-on to the point whereas girls do things much more meticulously. I actually thought I was able to understand the things guys say and do, but I was WAYY OFF. But I never thought about asking Dan-- a GUY-- about guys in general. O_o Geez, that one REALLY went over my head!
"So, you have a choice of either being like, 'YOU'RE GONNA DO THIS' or 'Hey, would you like to do this?' Your call."
"Ok." Oh dang it, I WAS starting to be more forceful like I was trying NOT to be... shoot, I'm sorry Robert!
"Ok, so here's what you do: say his name, and very politely ask if he would like to go on a date with you tomorrow. You just gotta be willing to go with whatever he feels rather than what you feel. Be fair about it."
I looked back at the computer screen with a new bout of revelation taking over me. I started typing again.
"Ok, I was thinking that maybe I've been too harsh. So now I wanna ask you politely regardless of my own feelings. I promise no matter what your answer is, I won't take it to heart. This is what YOU want, not me."
"Ok..."
"Robert, would you LIKE to go on a date with me tomorrow?"
"No."
"Ok then its off--"
"I would love to!!"
"WHAT?!!?!?"
"THAT SNEAKY BASTARD!!" Dan went up in laughter, as did I. "Ahh man, I can't beLIEVE he had the guts to do that! Hahahaha!!"
"Ok, then it's a date!" I typed back. And so that was that.

Oh Wednesday I got up at around 7:30 so I could clean up the house a bit. In case you all didn't know this, I get REALLY nervous when I make plan for anything because I'm all about being ON TIME and whatnot. I told them to come in between 11:30 to 12, so at around 11:40 I went outside to wait for them. I brought Guam sxbhafghdjlgnjkfchxdgnfjkbxbln (<--- literally the length of my guitar's name) with me to keep me occupied, but my sheer LACK of playing skills kinda made me bored faster. >_> I played Turn Into by The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, but like all of their songs I couldn't quite remember the nonsensical lyrics half the time (I was also singing to what I played). I waited for thirty minuts: nothing. It was past 12 and I was on the verge of DYING from waiting. It's kind of retarded but I kind of feel like Spongebob in that episode where he planned a party and FREAKED OUT when people were only SECONDS late. Well I think on my part it's just the waiting that kills me because I get SUPER bored... and I wanna hang out with friends than sit by myself.
At around 12:20, Robert was the first to arrive. I wanted to drop to my knees and shout, "THANK SWEET MERCIFUL HEAVENS, HE'S HERE!!!!!" I leaped at him as soon as he got out of the car.
"UGH, hi..." He grunted.
"YOU'RE HERE!!!"
"Why yes... I am..."
"Ok, now we gotta wait for Devin and Andy."
"Oh crap, I'm the first one here?!" He winced.
"Yup."
"Dang it! I purposly came late so I WOULDN'T be the first one here... wow."
About five minutes later, Devin and Andy finally showed up. I was so excited! And so we hung out inside my house for a little while before deciding to go to the movie store-- which I didn't know up until the moment I asked Mom to take us that there was a SYSTEM to renting movies Apparently you have to have a CARD or something to rent movies, which none of us had. We finally decided to just watch whatever movies I had at my house already. Devin and I starts searching through the weird-ass (AKA AWESOME) movies we had until Dad said, "We have Stardust."
"WHAT?" I looked up at him like a lion spotting its prey.
"We have Stardust. It's in the DVR."
"OH MY GOSH have any of you seen Stardust?" Nobody had. "WE'RE WATCHING STARDUST!" I leaped up.
While I was makiing popcorn, Devin adn Andy spent the whole time trying to get Robert to freaking SIT DOWN. He just stood at the edge of the room trying to mess with them and Andy would pull him into the recliner in a very forceful manner. Devin and I just laughed. Even I couldn't get him to sit down-- and I cornered him for a second! But of course he finally sat down when I came back in and the movie started.
Afterwards, we went to the Big Cheese where Andy said Shaun would meet us. After getting in the car, Mom started giving everyone the low-down about dating for me. I thought, 'Crap! I was gonna explain it to Robert but now what will she say that will give him the wrong idea and drive him away?! Dang it!'
"Ok, here are the RULES to dating in this family: Number ONE: Only date in groups. Number TWO: Do not go on a date with the SAME person more than once--"
I'm sorry Mom could you repeat that? I couldn't hear you over the BOMB that just dropped...
"But you can still LIKE people." I added.
"Yes, you can still see them and go out as friends, but otherwise no dating more than ONE time...." After relaying the rules, Mom said, "The reason we have these rules is because of my THIRD child [Dav] who didn't date a whole lot of people and is now STUCK... in a situation... and he can't get out of it because now he has a girlfriend to support."
Wait a minute... THAT'S why she suddenly got all strict with me?! Becuase of DAVID?! GAHH!!

After being dropped off at the Big Cheese, we stood inside deciding on what we wanted to eat. About ten minutes later, Shaun came walking in through the door and INSTANTLY Devin and Robert both practically LEAPED at him to where he nearly bolted away from them. I was about to do the same when they both just FLEW past me and I stopped in my tracks O.o
It was when we were at the Big Cheese that Robert got livelier (the rest of the time he looked bored and uncomfortable out of his freaking MIND) and I was very glad He and I played a round of DDR in this mode I had NO IDEA existed called "Nonstop Mode" O.O IT WAS INTENSE!!!! Basically you choose among a range of song bundles from light to hard. Robert wanted to choose the hardest bundle possible just for kicks, but we ended up picking a light one. Basically what it did was play the four songs back-to-back without stopping, and each song got slightly harder. I ALMOST HAD THE LAST ONE when the game stopped because we both failed. GRR I WAS SO CLOSE!!
"I failed horribly!!" Robert laughed, as he doesn't play DDR as often so he wasn't as good at it. I practically DIED, I was so out of breath and we both fell over each other panting heavily. I think partly why I wasn't doing as well was because my shoes were slipping on the dance pad. But hey, I was using the pad that was more sensetive so I didn't have to STOMP the entire time! 8D yay!!
Now I SO wanna try that nonstop mode again; that was SO FUN!! xD

Since it got too dark for us to go to the park, we decided to walk across the street to the library. After about ten minutes, I decided to call my mom to come pick us up because it was getting kind of boring. So once we got back to my house, we hung out for an hour or so. Robert was going to help me with Windwaker so I played that for a while. He got to see ME: when I am playing Zelda, and they all pretty much laughed so hard they praically fell over.
"GAAAHHHH!!!! *BUTTON-SMASHINGNESS!!!* *EXPLOSIONS [literally]*"
"OH MY GOSH, THAT'S BRUTAL!" Robert laughed.
"Yup... that's EXACTLY how Onee-chan plays." Devin smirked.

Pretty much afterwards, I kept asking if everyone had a good time because I was worried I didn't make things exciting enough. Robert was afraid he got too boring himself because he was in "serious mode" which pretty much looked like he was sad. Devin kept poking him, "You SURE you're ok?!?!"
"I'm fine. I'm just tired, is all."
"If you say so, Bobby-chan..."
Devin and Andy were the first ones to leave. About ten minutes later, Robert's mom came and picked him up.
"You don't have to wait with me out here where it's freezing..." He said to me.
"Oh it's ok!" I replied.
"Um, ok.." Not even a minute after we came outside, his mom pulled up and he left.

It wasn't until Robert came on AIM that I was satasfied about how the day went. He asked me if I had fun, we started talking about Zelda and laughed all the while, then we talked about how I can't go on a date with him anymore, but that conversation went very smoothly. I had trouble wording things the way I wanted because my mind was so JuMbLeD but it wasn't bad at all. ^^ All in all, yesterday was VERY fun! And hope you guys had fun as well!
